Dr. Alexander Kitade DOM (Doctor of Oriental Medicine) received his Bachelor Degree from San Francisco State University.
He also completed Waseda University, one of the most prestigious universities in Japan. To earn his Master Degree in Oriental
Medicine, he entered Meiji College of Oriental Medicine in Berkeley, California, currently known as the Acupuncture and
Integrative Medicine College.
He is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and holds an acupuncture license in the states of Florida and Washington. He is fluent in both English and Japanese.
The medical field has been a part of Dr. Kitade's family for generations. This spurred his interest in health care at a young age. After he became more aware of his roots in Japan, it was a natural choice to study Japanese acupuncture, which is known for its gentle and superficial needling technique. He communicates regularly with his uncles in Osaka, Japan, who have practiced acupuncture for more than 20 years, to keep abreast of the latest developments and trends in Japanese acupuncture.
In addition to that, he has worked alongside medical doctors for many years, giving him a broad perspective from which to integrate western and eastern medicines. This experience helps him attain greater results from minimal stimulation.
With the increasing awareness of preventive medicine and Oriental medicine alternatives, Dr. Kitade will deliver safe, gentle and effective treatments to meet each individual patient's needs and expectations.
